le personnage (non joueur) de Karen Valentine est une sorte de gag récurrent dans nos campagnes. Karen Valentine est apparue comme antagoniste dans une partie de Maid RPG, décliné pour être joué dans nos univers de superhéros. Il s'agissait d'une partie "détente" même si cela fait partie de la campagne globale.
Depuis, Karen est réapparue dans PRIMUS - Sons of Liberty où les joueurs se sont amusés à imaginer qu'elle était une superméchante déguisée et qui contrôlait tout dans l'ombre tout en jouant la cruche en apparence. Sauf que... qui sait...

Subgenetics is a paramedical franchise part of a pharmaceutical conglomerate, it is selling products related to births and pregnancies but is increasingly focusing on human mutations. Subgenetics is selling products marketed as inducing, preventing, controlling, delaying, accelerating mutations but also genetic mapping to detect potential mutations before birth, device to detect mutants and so on. The company is hated by almost everyone. People hostile to mutants say they promote mutation, mutants say they are forcing mutants into guilt and try to wipe them out even before birth, creationists oppose Subgenetics on DNA tampering and supposed promotion of both abortion and mutancy in a positive light.

Biotechnix is a modest company involved into bio-engineering. Its field of expertise comes from the various alien incursions on Earth. The company focus on identifying alien genetic material and how to use it for commercial purpose. The company is regularly the target of conspiracy theorists arguing it is trying to transform humans into aliens. Biotechnix claims it is only a research company with no experimental division, dedicated to understanding alien life to provide solution to human problems. For now, Biotechnix only commercial success was to produce new Genetically modified crops.
