Orion Labs since moved most of its research offices to third world countries. While the company reminds its purpose 'providing energy where it is needed the most', many are suspecting Orion Labs to rely on people poverty to have them accepting Orion Labs monetary offers in exchange of analysis.

Cooke's Electronics is an electrical and electronic store franchise whose unexpected success rely on marketing superheroes' gadgets. Actually, even Cooke's Electronic doesn't pretend to sell actual super gadgets, they claim their products are 'inspired by'.
However, not only they are doing convincing copies of super gadgets you may see on news channels but, more, their products are actually really working and of good quality. Cooke's Electronic became a reference for weird and useful gadgets. The company even hinted new heroes without much resources are sometimes using their products.

Pandoras Box capitalizes on apparition of superheroes like Witchcraft and any mystic related event to sell more books, more talismans and more 'items of power'. Never admitting they are selling to gullible people, Pandoras Box marketing team prefers to remind their products are genuine but sometimes only a true 'Practitioner of the Arts' may get actual results from them.

Image Incorporated is a big sport franchise with fitness clubs everywhere in the country, a line of food complements, a sport TV channel, lines of fitness books and manuals on self-teaching exercises.
Image Inc is using superheroes as a background theme to get people into their club or buying their products. Unable to use the public image of established heroes, Image Inc relies on 'everyman heroes', people who went through their training program and ended 'as powerful as some of the street heroes'.
Image Inc is also known to aggressively place its marketing following any dramatic event like a surge of gang warfare or many innocent people injured during a super battle. Detractors say Image Inc is capitalizing on people fears when the company replies they show an alternative to being a victim exists.

However, Exarch Industries is the provider of several national armies and 'private security' companies across the world. The company has a full division dedicated on how to kill a super being. Exarch Industries also attempts to collect every gadget or piece of supertech that may be left after a super fight. The company is said to often pressure police departments into giving them found devices.
The stance that 'war is a business like any other' of Exarch Industries may explain why they were not given a single piece of DefenderTech.
