"Captain Starforce is back! The poster-child of Ameriforce One has probably been the duller of the superheroic team from the beginning. With 'the Trial of Terra', it's not an Ameriforce movie, it's a Captain Starforce movie. The film-makers had the idea of spicing up the Captain love life by adding Gunmetal, a new face on the roster. This sparked immediate controversy as it was totally obvious the new character was based on Gunmetal Silk, the infamous killer cyborg of Hudson City. Fortunately, hiring actress Jaymes Farrow (from 'Dead Girls Can Dream Too' and award-winning 'Nobody Heir') was the best idea of the movie when she portrays a crazily surreal, engaging and funny heroine kicking alien asses left and right (apparently, the production objected reminding the original Gunmetal Silk is a gun-for-hire). The plot revolves around the idea of a renewed Sirian invasion. Here comes tripods with their bizarre walk and heat rays. Captain Starforce, unable to muster the Ameriforce, is obliged to team-up with Gunmetal to fight back the invaders, up to the mothership who, of course, will be blown to bits by our heroes before credits roll. Dalton Wayne delivers his usual and steady play as Captain Starforce, breaking only for catchy one-liners at his new teammate.
'The Trial of Terra' won't be the best Ameriforce movie, probably because it's not really an Ameriforce movie (where are The Valdorian and Saber ?). It's still good entertainment, only if by the performance of Wayne and Farrow." - Sheila Swinson, Super_Talk.com
